Who is Expand Abroad?

Expand Abroad Consulting was founded in 2002 by Peter Donohue, a marketing executive based in San francisco/Silicon Valley area of California. Here is a summary of his background:

over 10 years corporate experience in B2B marketing both in the US and in Asia. This ranges from Fortune 500 (8 years at Raychem/Tyco, concluding his career there by running marketing in Asia) to tech startups (including being founder of HELPUHIRE Solutions, an ASP-based recruiting software provider).
has earned an MBA in International Management, and a BS in Marketing and Computers.
teaches Global Management classes part time in the MBA program of the University of Phoenix.
has an interest in foreign cultures and languages (and even now continues his studies of Japanese), which is instrumental in working with different cultures.
has spent 2 months or more cumulative time in each of the following countries: South Korea, Japan, China, Mexico, and France. Has also traveled to over a dozen other countries.
